I took my first yoga class in 2002 at a gym in Boston. Initially I was drawn to the strength it builds but it was the fluidity of the movement and the focus on the breath that were the clinchers. It was relaxing and meditative. Just a short practice could change my outlook, relax my mind and wash a sense of happiness over me. And then there's Savasana! When you are awoken from Savasana, it's as if you feel nothing, and I mean nothing.  No worry, no anxiety, no thought at all.  Just a sense of peace from within.   My class has been described as having the exhilaration of a workout yet leaves you feeling relaxed and peaceful. My teaching style is known for being accepting of the individual and non judgmental. I always end class with a reading or a quote that will hopefully stick with you for the rest of the day.
